Talk:Tethered Software

From CAE Software

Jump to: navigation, search

Hi,

I noticed that on the CAE webpage for installing tethered software, the instructions for "Mounting a Network Drive in Linux" don't work as written, at least for the mount command on my RHEL4 Linux system. To work, the target must be formatted as shown here:

mount -t cifs -o user=uuu //kamino.cae.wisc.edu/tethered /mnt

I don't know if any other Linux systems require that other syntax appearing now on the webpage. I hope you can include the correction.

Thanks,

Ross Swaney

Has anyone reported problems saving files from Maple 10.04 on Vista. And, more importantly, have they been able to resolve them.
