Step 1. Before you Install:

  • Map to the network drive.
  • Authorize your computer to use tethered software. Use your CAE username and password to gain access to CAE tethered licensing. Each authorization has a duration of 12 hours

Step 2. Start the Installer. You will need the Origin 7.5 User Serial Number: <Protected text, login to view>

Step 3. Installation. Choose the radio button Install Origin for stand-alone personal use.

Step 4. After you Install. Running Origin the first time:

  • License Information: Flexlm Server: license-1.cae.wisc.edu TCP/IP port: 1775.
  • Origin 7.5 Registration ID: <Protected text, login to view>

Note: In order for tethered software to function properly your workstation must be continuously connected to the network and the CAE license servers.

Supports CAD releases by Unigraphics, Pro/ENGINEER, Autodesk Inventor, SolidEdge, SolidWorks
