Software should be used only within 5 km of the College of Engineering campus.
[edit] Installation Steps
Step 1. Before you Install:
- Map to the network drive or check out the media from the Wendt Library, circulation desk.
- Download the |license file. Save it to your C:\TEMP folder.
- Authorize your computer to use tethered software. Use your CAE username and password to gain access to CAE tethered licensing. Each authorization has a duration of 12 hours.
Step 2. Start the Installer.
Step 3. Enter Customer Information.
Step 4. Select the Version to Install. Select Maya Complete.
Step 5. Move the License File. Move the license file to the C:\FLEXlm folder, replace existing aw_mayalic.dat file with the one you downloaded.

Note: In order for tethered software to function properly your workstation must be continuously connected to the network and the CAE license servers.
