Step 1. Before you Install:
- Map to the network drive.
- Authorize your computer to use tethered software. Use your CAE username and password to gain access to CAE tethered licensing. Each authorization has a duration of 12 hours.
Step 2. Start the Installer. Select Install.
- The installer can either be downloaded from our campus server //kamino.cae.wisc.edu/tethered
Step 3. Configure Licensing. Select "Enter license information now.", Indicate that this is a "Network License", and Enter fireball.cae.wisc.edu as the license server.

Note: In order for tethered software to function properly your workstation must be continuously connected to the network and the CAE license servers.
