[edit] Tethered Installation Steps

Step 1. Before you Install:

Map to the network drive or check out the media from the Wendt Library, circulation desk.
Authorize your computer to use tethered software. Use your CAE username and password to gain access to CAE tethered licensing. Each authorization has a duration of 12 hours.

Step 2. Start the Installer (setup.exe). Click MathCAD 13.

The installer can either be downloaded from our campus server \\kamino.cae.wisc.edu\tethered or checked out from Wendt library
If you want to use the installer from our campus server, please use the one located in the 'Express_Installs' directory instead of MathCAD 13.

Step 3. Review the License Agreement

Step 4. Complete the Customer Information. Use:

MathCAD 13 Product Code: <Protected text, login to view>

Step 5. Configure Licensing. Enter 17520@license-2.cae.wisc.edu when asked to enter a license server.

Note: In order for tethered software to function properly your workstation must be continuously connected to the network and the CAE license servers.
