Notes for a tethered installation of ESPRIT 2007.

[edit] System Installation Prerequisites

Administrator privileges for this machine

Any previous version of ESPRIT must be uninstalled

SQL Express 2005 instance named KBMSS.

Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or greater

Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0.50727.

Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP 4 min.) / Windows XP (SP 2 min.)

Sentinel drivers version 5 minimum

Screen color quality of at least 16 bit.

Screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels (1024 x 768 recommended)

Note It is important that the prerequisites are installed in the following order.

1. Windows service packs
2. Microsoft .Net framework (Windows XP x64 install the 64 bit version - NetFx64.exe)
   1. Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable (v2) if not installed by automatic update
   2. SQL Express 2005
3. Rainbow sentinel drivers
