[edit] AspenOne 2006: Engineering Software Suite

• Map a network drive to the CAE media server \\kamino.cae.wisc.edu\tethered. NOTE: You must install WiscVPN to connect to CAE media server from off of the campus network.

[edit] Install the Software

• change folders into AspenOne 2006 > DVD 6 - Aspen Engineering Suite
• run setup.exe
• Version 7 Users: Click on the Porducts tab and then click OK.
• License - License Server

type in license-2.cae.wisc.edu - click Add Server

move default - License Server Bucket

• select Install by Product tab, then DVD 6 - Aspen Engineering
• select Standard Install
• Version 7 Users: Install ONLY the Process Modeling (Aspen Plus) feature. Later you'll be prompted to install missing dependencies. Just check the Auto select missing features box and continue.

Dynamics

HTFS+

Icarus (CAE only has license for the Aspen IPE 2006 subcomponent)

Properties*

Process Manual (Requires Microsoft IIS Web Server)

Process Tools (CAE does not have a license for this)

* core AspenOne modules, all others are optional depending on course materials.

• Check the Skip user name/password validation and click Next.

[edit] Install the Documentation

• change folders into AspenOne 2006 > Documentation DVD
• run setup.exe
