[edit] Ansys 10.0
ANSYS, Inc. ANSYS is a general purpose finite element modeling and analsys tool. As such many different types of problems may be analyzed, some examples include: structural, thermal, magnetic field, electric field, and coupled field analyses. ANSYS includes a Pre-processor (model definition), Processor (solver), and Post-processor (output). All of these components may be accessed either through a graphical user interface (GUI) or through command line interface.
[edit] Product Features
High Option (Unix version) 16,000 node and 12,000 element limit
Low Option(NT version) 8,000 node and 6,000 element limit
Structural analysis: static, modal, harmonic, transient dynamic, spectrum, and buckling analysis
Thermal analysis: steady-state and transient thermal analysis
Magnetic field Analysis: static, harmonic, and transient magnetic analysis
Electric Field Analysis
