Windows Users:

Are you missing a software package from the CAE Applications menu?

[edit] Add CAE Applications to a CAE Managed Windows Start Menu

For use in the CAE Labs and on the CAE Remote Desktop

Use Start > CAE Applications > Add Applications To Start Menu to add or remove applications to the CAE Applications menus. Once the change is made, you will need to wait for the menus to update. If after a minute or so the additional application(s) haven't shown up on the start menu do one of the following:

  • Refresh the applications by right clicking the NAL icon (Image:NALicon.png) in the system tray in the lower right area of the screen and select refresh.
or
  • Logout and log back in again

If the new menu item does not show up right away, please be patient. It may take a couple minutes for the change request to propagate through our system.

NOTE: adding and removing from the CAE Applications menus does nothing other than make these shortcuts available on your desktop. It does NOT install or uninstall the application on your computer. The installation and placement of files is done when you first use these menu shortcuts.
